With two weeks left to go, things are coming to a head! Here are some images from our rehearsals taken by our AV documentarian Ashleigh Wells!
Weeeeee, it’s all so exciting; more exciting than writing a blog to my two subscribers. Hi Jess and me, thanks for your support!

Quack
I had the pleasure of seeing a production of ‘Quack’ written by Ian Wilding and directed by Chris Mead on Friday night. Knowing that the play consisted of zombies, blood and other bodily fluids I wasn’t sure what to expect; that didn’t stop me from sitting in the front row. What I got was a smart, funny and gory commentary on all things currently in the Australian political landscape. With a play so full of puns and large melodramatic characters you might expect this play to fall short of a thought provoking night at the theater however because of Chris’s deep understanding of the text he was able, along with the actors, to pull out the subtle and complex comedy of the play to deliver a satirical look at mans disregard for the natural order of life. Charlie Garber’s detail and understanding of comedy’s timing and rhythm drove this play to an extremely entertaining piece and with such a strong ensemble it would have been hard for them to fall flat.
Although it has now closed I would recommend this play if it resurfaced in the future.
